On Tuesday 16 May in Sydney, Dr Foley gave a speech titled "A moment in time for Australian biotechnology" at the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia's Biotechnology Luncheon.

On Monday 08 May in Perth, Dr Foley gave a speech titled "Leveraging our unique strengths" at the 2023 Science on the Swan Conference.

On Thursday 20 April in Sydney, Dr Foley gave a speech titled "Pursuing personal and professional transformation at university" as part of the University of Sydney Union's Distinguished Speaker Series. 

On Friday 24 March 2023 in Brisbane, Dr Foley delivered a speech titled "Science for advanced economic development" at the ADC Forum's Australian Leadership Retreat.

Dr Foley delivered a speech titled "Quantum in action" at Quantum Australia 2023 on Tuesday 21 February 2023 in Sydney.

As thousands of Australian children walk back through the school gates, I can’t help wondering how many will go on to become the next generation of scientists, researchers, innovators and STEM teachers. 

Dr Foley delivered the Australian Institute of Physics Congress dinner speech titled "An Ode to Australian Physics" on Wednesday 14 December 2022 in Adelaide.

Dr Foley addressed the Quantum World Congress in Washington DC, where she discussed Australia’s quantum ambition and activity, including the benefits of international collaboration. Australia was an early investor in quantum research and is now a global quantum leader, with a strong commitment to accelerate this set of technologies.

The 14th meeting of the National Science and Technology Council was held in Canberra on 24 November 2022. The Prime Minister opened the meeting and noted apologies from Professor Fiona Wood and Dr Larry Marshall. 

Dr Foley delivered the 2022 Patricia Kailis Women of Achievement address titled "Looking beneath the surface – finding leadership within" on Tuesday 15 November 2022 to the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce in Perth.
