STARportal logo

Interested in STEM activities, but struggling to find the ones for you?

The STARportal is Australia's first national searchable listing of STEM learning activities from around the country, including hundreds of activities you can do online and at home.

With filters for location, student age, areas of interest and more, the STARportal helps connect parents, students and teachers to STEM learning activities that inspire young people to explore, discover, and create.

It's constantly updated, and free to use. Visit www.starportal.edu.au and see what you can find.

First launched in 2017, the STARportalĀ is a collaboration between the Office of the Chief Scientist, Engineers Australia, Telstra, the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI), BHP Billiton and the Commonwealth Bank, in consultation with the Department of Education. Its aim is to ensure all Australian families have access to any and all STEM outreach activities in their area and online.
