Australian Brain Bee Challenge - QLD and NT State Finals
Professor Sackett will present at the Queensland and Northern Territory state finals of the Australian Brain Bee Challenge.
The Brain Bee Challenge is a test of knowledge about important brain facts concerning intelligence, memory, emotions, sensations, movement, stress, aging, sleep, Alzheimer’s disease and stroke and encourages high school students to consider careers in neuroscience.
Over 200 students will come together at the Queensland Brain Institute in July to battle it out for the chance to compete at the national finals later in the year, with the Australian winner going on to compete at the International Brain Bee Challenge in the United States.
